Inspiration :

I love the depth achieved from layering process and the surprises that arise in Assemblage. Layers of gesso as a base, some collage is added then boldly gestural layers of oil in different consistencies. This process helps make up movement and depth. My inspiration comes from the world around me , textures , colour’s , impressions and suggestions. I’m also inspired by Postwar Abstraction - Artists include: Lee Krasner , Perle Fine, and Grace Hartigan.
